Established in 2017, Kafalat is a joint non-profit initiative by Ideal Relief Committee Trust (IRCT) and Professional Solidarity Forum (PSF), dedicated to making education accessible to underprivileged children. Through our child sponsorship program, we provide financial support to children from marginalized communities, empowering them to pursue their education and succeed in life.
While education remains our central mission, Kafalat also works to uplift disadvantaged families through a range of impactful programs that address broader societal needs and challenges.

Why should I sponsor a child?
Education can play a key role in helping underprivileged families break free from a life of poverty. Your contribution ensures children stay enrolled in school and complete their education. By sponsoring a child, you aid their educational journey by providing resources like school fees, uniforms, shoes, books, and more.
Is it possible to sponsor more than one child through Kafalat?
Yes, you can. Browse through our list of students in need and make an education donation online to campaigns of your choice.
What other causes do you support?
Apart from child education, we also work on causes such as emergency relief, healthcare aid, food and nutrition, water and hygiene, legal aid, and disability assistance.
Are donations on this website eligible for tax exemptions?
Yes, donations towards any of our causes are subjected to tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, provided you have shared your PAN with us.
Do you accept Zakat or Sadaqat for donations?
Yes. We accept Zakat, Sadaqat, Fitra, or any kind of charitable donations for our causes.
Can I donate from outside India?
Unfortunately, we are not currently authorized to accept donations from outside India. We only accept payments made from Indian bank accounts or cards.
Can I make donations using cards or UPI?
Yes, you can donate using both debit or credit cards and UPI. Our payment gateway supports transactions from all major banks within the permitted limit. You can also setup recurring payments for any number of child and any amount.
