Established in 2017, Kafalat is a leading non-profit initiative dedicated to making education accessible to underprivileged children in India.
Through our child sponsorship program, we ensure that children from marginalized backgrounds receive the financial support they deserve to continue their education. This includes assistance with school fees, uniforms, books, learning materials, and other essentials, which reduces the burden of academic expenses.
Beyond education, we also address broader societal needs of the disadvantaged sections of society through programs dedicated to food and nutrition, medical aid, free legal aid, disaster relief, and more.
The Kafalat Project is owned by the Ideal Relief Committee Trust (IRCT), a registered not-for-profit organization established in 2005. IRCT is dedicated to working towards the upliftment of vulnerable communities in Maharashtra without discrimination based on religion, caste, race, gender, or socio-economic status.
Kafalat is managed by Professional Solidarity Forum (PSF), an initiative by young professionals in Mumbai committed to equipping youngsters from underprivileged backgrounds with essential skill development and networking opportunities.
